X2, I would wait as well. You don't want to ruin your trip because you could not wait to start the chop top.

I love the rig. Your doing a great job on it. You guys find the best deals on here. That thing is really clean for $500. Even when it was stock. Im having no luck finding a good deal on a cherokee : (

Haha what an idiot. Just as a reference point how many miles were on it when you bought it and was there anything wrong with it?

Ya it was around 180k miles, someone had cut out the catalytic converter, needed a bank 1 O2 sensor, fuel pump had a intermittent failure problem, leaking diffs, bondo on the hood & RF fender, & faded paint... lol Ya it wasn't in the greatest of shape, but it just needed a good home!
I took her in to do the safety & emissions, & it was no where near passing, the guy even laughed at me!!! That is tell I brought it back the very next day after replacing the cat, O2, plugs, wires, oil, & air filter! Shut that dude up real quick cause she past like a brand new car!!!!
All together I dropped like $1,000.

Thats pretty funny. Where i live just to get a cherokee that is in running condition you have to atlest drop a little over 1k. I love what you did with yours. It looks so sick.

Thanks!!! Just got the backbone bumper in the mail today, but the half the mounting bolts are missing!!! I'll have to call mark at detours & see what he says, but I've been itching to get it on sooo bad I might just hit the hardware store for some good grade 8 hardware...
