Not much so far, but I'll be making a prerunnier tube bumper with the backbone as the base, sliders, tube fenders, then chop the top, & then an exo!!!

The only reason I bought the bumpers is cause ithe price was right & I feel like the back bone is a great way to start my bumper build!
Also I'm planning on rounding my QPs (like a TJ look) when I chop the top & mounting round taillights, & using a MJ tailgate!

Nice rig man. I lived in SL,UT for a year a bit back. Great place to live. I wasn't into the Jeep scene then. MAybe I would have stayed if so.

My question is about the lift. I see you did 3" + a 2"bb on top of that. Do you have adjustable LCAs or were you able to get the extra 2" on the fixed LCAs that came with the 3" lift? Would you feel comfortable driving that on the freeway for extended periods or is it more of a dedicated trail rig?

Again, nice Jeep,
s

Ya its been geting me back & forth from work this past month cause my WJ's tranny went out! The only problem she has on the free way is a drinking problem!!! Lol I'd recomend addinng pucks & shackles to anyone with 3"-3.5" of lift with or without adjustable LCA's!

Ok so here is the concept idea of where I'll be going with this chop, cause I don't really care much for the full 2 door chop & love my rear wing windows!!!
Let me know what you guys think???

Glad to hear that. I just got a RC 3" lift (putting on this weekend) and my Jeep already has a 2" BB on it. I was thinking about keeping the the 2" on and adding the 3" to it.

BTW love the rig man

The only problems you will run into with adding to the BB is the shocks for your 3" lift wont be long enough in the rear. As for the front you can just get shock extenders from the parts store (cheap) or spend more to get bar pin eliminators! Also your gonna want a t-case drop...
Thanks

Nice! I like the photoshop chop. Did you end up doing the t-case drop with the 1" square tube you were talking about?

No I already have a 1" drop! you must have misunderstood as I was telling someone else to make it, cause I've had mine since I put on the lift!

I really wanna start chopping, but I'll be heading down to moab in may & don't wanna put to much stress on the unibody with all that flexin going on!!! Although I've seen tons of guys chop theirs without a cage or frame stiffeners!
What do ya think should I just go for it???

If it were me? Hold off, get your plans all worked out as far as determining if you need reinforcements or not, the planning stage is the most important. Lots of homework pays off with less headaches down the road. And for the record, I dig the design your working!

After the kit came in I started thinking about doing it. I could rig up something if I do go for it. I'm ready to do a T-case drop, think I will need it with just the 3" on there.
