Default long arms

I personally would reccommend Rustys long arm upgrade...good ease of installation and overall good quality.

Thanks Overland, I been following your build on a couple of sites, Its Awesome. Planning on more of camping /exploring rig myself. Wish I had more area to explore in Northern IN. Plan on some Michigan 2 trackin and hopefully Southern Indiana trips. My build has changed directions, from wheeling to exploring.

I take it that this just is just kind of for looks ???

short arm, no bumper upgrades, no winch, no lockers... not for off-roading, right??

not to sure about the 80's paint job on the interior.

why waste all that interior space on a speaker?

So now that you half pissed me off.
Dude I'm not sure where your coming from . Pretty brave for a first post. Short arms at 4" of lift work just fine, you don't long arms to wheel. It has front and rear receivers so why get bumpers till I can get what I want. I plan on building a winch plate that can be mounted front or rear in the receiver hitches. Well lockers would be nice, but funds don't allow them right now. Its been offroad many times. Don't judge till you know. No reason it can't look good and be used.

I bought it from a guy that was making them on another site, he no longer Jeeps or makes the mount.

lol that's hilarious, for a first post..

I'm with you, jeepthing.. Ive got no big $ bumpers, no winch, open/open, short-arm, and it'll go anywhere I feel like taking it... it honestly has made me a better driver, as I have to pick lines more precisely, rather than ramhorn it through an obstacle..

how did you get that lip on your front and rear fenders? was is using the cut and fold method, and just folding the sheet metal out towards you? or what? Thanks.

I trimmed and folded the rear under, the front trim to the body line and use door edge molding or Protecto Trim.
Here are the articles I used Should help you.

So are these pics of you in a field and in a couple inches of water supposed to prove that you "wheel" this thing?! That is funny. I could drive a Mini van through all those same places... Why are you wasting money on crap like an ax, flashlight, a sub-woofer, and junk? Save your money for some lockers and make this into a real wheeler?

"Pretty brave for a first post." - what am I supposed to be afraid of?? This lady jeep??? Looks to me like you cant handle some real comments about this Jeep... and you are just gonna cry cuz I dont like your 1980's paint splatter.

"cant look good and be used" not sure I see the "good looking" Jeep you are talking about ??? Looks to me like a clean but Yellow XJ that somebody who should be building mini trucks has tried to make into an offroad truck... splatter? worthless hook in a rear receiver? axe? air compressor on a box that does nothing?

Do you see where this is going????

You really need to rethink your build... sell the Cherokee to someone who can fix what you have screwed up and go get yourself a nice S10 to pimp out.
