Default Building a short bus.

I bought my XJ as a family cruiser, but after playing on the net and finding lots of Jeep sites things changed. My XJ has gone through a few changes and will probably go through some more.
Stock

2" Lift and 30" tires

BDS 3" with 31" Trxus

BDS 3" and 31" Goodyear MTR's Procomp wheels, sold the wheels didnt care for the Aluminum.

Now on 4" BDS 32" Kumho MTR's, trimmed fenders, bedlined rockers and quarters, Pre '96 bumper caps, skid plates, Surco rack, Tsunami on board air, sound system, a bit of interior work and it just keeps going. LOL

Future mods include long arms, lockers and maybe an inernal cage.

That is about the ugliest short bus I have ever seen. But it makes a damn nice Jeep!

Nice Job with the build you made Tess want a yeller jeep.

Amazing idea with the dash, really unique.

Have you decided what LA's you want to go with?

Thanks, I love the "Fitchbox" its one of my favorite mods. Pretty simple to do as well. The interior is stock was pretty blah, I was building lowride mini trucks prior to Jeepin, I used to do all my trucks that way. As far as long arms, looking at several. Would love to do BDS but its a bit on the expensive side. looking at probably Rockkrawler or maybe Ironrock Outfitters

It did fine with a budget boost. Sometimes wished i would have left it there, with gas at $4 a gallon. But as most of us know inchitis hits and you want to go more lift. But 30" tires a budget boost is an awesome street and occansional offroad set up.

I debadged the XJ this weekend, with the intentions of ordering some black Cherokee and Jeep emblems, not sure I want to now. Kinda like it with no emblems.
