Very nice jeep. Always remember as you already know. It's not about what other people think. It's yours who gives a damn.

not a waste if you like loud music with tons of bass, the box for my sub will make this one look tiny...lol

Beautiful jeep, yellow never looked good til now.
Awesome idea for the air compresser. That can really help you in a bind, you planning on having any air tools such as an impact gun or just for blowing up tires.
Not a fan of the sub lol not my personal style.

DHFHades, tons of bass is stupid if you can't hear the song. IMO, when I heard noise from the other side of the parking lot when I was in high school i thought 'that must be an awesome system' get closer and closer and it's just the same bum duh dum i heard a couple hundred feet away. thats a waste of space and money. I'm with Camrynz, enhancing your system is cool. Not going deaf.

I have tons of bass, BUT I can hear everything, 400 watts of mids and highs sounds pretty damn nice with 1500+ of bass

Dude I'm not sure where your coming from . Pretty brave for a first post. Short arms at 4" of lift work just fine, you don't long arms to wheel. It has front and rear receivers so why get bumpers till I can get what I want. I plan on building a winch plate that can be mounted front or rear in the receiver hitches. Well lockers would be nice, but funds don't allow them right now. Its been offroad many times. Don't judge till you know.

So are these pics of you in a field and in a couple inches of water supposed to prove that you "wheel" this thing?! That is funny. I could drive a Mini van through all those same places... Why are you wasting money on crap like an ax, flashlight, a sub-woofer, and junk? Save your money for some lockers and make this into a real wheeler?

"Pretty brave for a first post." - what am I supposed to be afraid of?? This lady jeep??? Looks to me like you cant handle some real comments about this Jeep... and you are just gonna cry cuz I dont like your 1980's paint splatter.

"cant look good and be used" not sure I see the "good looking" Jeep you are talking about ??? Looks to me like a clean but Yellow XJ that somebody who should be building mini trucks has tried to make into an offroad truck... splatter? worthless hook in a rear receiver? axe? air compressor on a box that does nothing?

Do you see where this is going????

You really need to rethink your build... sell the Cherokee to someone who can fix what you have screwed up and go get yourself a nice S10 to pimp out.

why are you slammin on someones build dude, not cool at all man, let him build it how he wants to build it, i disagree with some of the things hes done but you still have to respect it, its called standing out from the pack.

Bottom line is, we all have our own personal styles that we want to apply to our XJ's. Jeepthing, your Jeep is a beautiful piece of work, and I commend you for doing what you've done to it by making it your own. I also applaud the person who just prefers to leave their XJ stock. The XJ is the Leatherman Tool of the vehicle world, not just the 4x4 world. You've got room for a family, room for gear and a capable rig that can not only do hardcore offroading but get the family safely through bad weather without blinking an eye.

Lol, let's get back to the build. That guy is long gone, he has what he thinks is knowledge and spouted it off in the wrong place. Great build though, what does the switch box control?

Nice looking Jeep. I love the toggle switches mounted to the roof. Just curious what all they control.

I have always had a thing for toggles, not sure why but I think it would be kind of fun (although it might get annoying after a while) to flip some toggles to start it up.
