I used some 5/16 foam they had at the upholstery shop, its a closed cell foam (kinda like wet suit material) trimmed and glued to the headliner board.then covered with headliner material. Use the app for jo annes to get the 50%off coupon for headliner.

I have some pics I will post up later.

got the thing running pretty good, but was running a little fat, replaced the new map sensor after some testing, and found the map wasn't reading properly, was at 2.4 volts at idle. pilled it and added a vac pump to check sweep and it only swept to 2.2 volts(should have been around .5) swapped sensor and its running pretty good, but with low vac signal, and semi eratic.

so, did some looking around and found that i had about 15 degree's of crank movement before rotor rotation.= bad timming chain. pulled it, and it was ttrashed, really suprised it never "jumped" time. i had over 3/4 chain slack.

so i bought this.

fans installed on the new open radiator, wired the acc fan to a switch, deleted the temp switch for the fans and the double diode, i dint have ac anymore, so it was just one more thing to go wrong.

these fans pull a ton of air, you could hole a cigar about 2 feet in front of the radiator and it will draw the smoke right in, creates a nice draft.

edit: new thermostat housing was also installed with a temp switch for the electric fans, just not pictured here
