On another note, the weather is suppose to be nice tomorrow so I'll (hopefully) get the rest of the interior out and prepped and ready for bed-liner.

Got a fair amount of work done today on the floor. Finished taking out the interior. Only problems I had was the center console will not come out so I had to cut the carpet around it, gonna touch it up later. Lots of surface rust on the floor and some pinholes, then I got to the drivers side and it's extremely bad so I'm going to cut that out and replace it over the next few days.
Here's the passenger and drivers side floor after sanding it down. I still have some more sanding to do before the bed-liner goes on and putting a patch in but its coming along.

It's not as bad as it looks in the pictures. A lot of that is just surface rust. It's actually only a 8" x 12" spot that has to be replaced. I got a start on it tonight. She's slowly coming along, tomorrow hopefully I'll get it finished up.

Looks like you're off to a great start man! I've been kind of thinking about doing my own fenders too. I remember thinking the same thing when I found that thread, that they actually look better than the orig. ones!

How bad was it gettin your seats out?
My floors are like that too and I've been thinking about doing that before it gets to be winter. I'm afraid if I try taking the seat bolts out that things will start to disintegrate though!

In total it probably took an hour and a half total to get both seats out. Nothing disintegrated, I'm glad I did it because it actually showed me some spots that I otherwise wouldn't have noticed.

Quick question for anyone who's actually reading this thread, for my bastard pack I'm thinking about going with the Blazer/S10 leaf springs for the back and the Thunderbird springs for the front. With the Blazer/S10 leaf springs, do I completely replace the stock ones, or stack the Blazer ones with the stock in an alternating order like one stock, one blazer, then stock, then blazer, etc. I've heard people doing it both ways. Also with the Thunder front springs, anyone have a rough estimate on how much lift in total, and any particular year Thunderbird, V6 or V8 and will the lift match up in the front and back. I'm aware the T-Bird springs will ride fairly stiff but I'm not too concerned with it. Oh and any suggestions for longer shocks?

IIRC with a pack, you keep the xj main leaf, cut the eyes off the s10 main leaf and put it under the xj main, then alternate the rest. Not entirely sure on that though, i need to do a bit of searching myself, my leafs are flat

Thats my basic understanding of it as well right now. Gonna do some more research before I jump into it though, up until 3 weeks ago I'd never even heard of a bastard pack lol

Got a little bored this morning, 4am and couldnt sleep so I decided to say goodbye to my chrome grill and redo it black with some spray bombs I had kickin around the garage. The grill and trim around the headlights is actually rocker guard lol. Daylight starting to come up so I snapped some quick pictures. The front bumper is still wet.
Also a picture of the engine bay, I've got some major cleaning ahead of me there.

Didn't feel like doing a whole lot today so I took the front tires off, cleaned up the rims with a wire wheel, then took a fine sandpaper over them and sprayed them with primer to get them ready for paint. I'm gonna paint them black but I'm thinking about leaving the face of the spokes silver and the rest black, or just all black, but I'm not entirely sure, any thoughts?
In the first pic, the rim on the right is cleaned up and the left is as it came off before being cleaned up.
