Iroks vs pitbulls what do you guys think? Ive never seen pitbulls in the mud or snow I've just heard what people say and its pretty mixed. So if you have any input or info that would be great. I wheel 60% mud 20% snow 20% sand and possibly rubicon next year but I've never wheeled rocks and even if I do it will only be maybe twice a year so I'm not to concerned with best tire for rocks.

 

Irocks all the way, Interco is the best tire off road, not the cheapest just the best. If nohas ark had tires, they would have been swamper tsl's

 

Thanks for the input man. Ya I love iroks but I have heard guys that say pitbulls put their old iroks to shame but ya I love swampers myself but man those pitbulls look awesome.

 

Got some more poverty of the gas tank frame I built the box but no pics till tomorrow.

Thanks man. I'm new to this kind of thing (fab work and linking a rig ect.) I've had a lot of wheelers/crawlers but usually bolt on kits and lockers nothing like this. I appreciate all your the support and comments.

Got this tonight I'm a sucker for square headlights on a jeep

 

Finally found my axles after a couple weeks of searching and they came with a truck and some descent 42s to roll it around on till I get my rockers.

 

Tomorrow morning I'm gonna pull the axles out and get them all ready for the front links/coilovers. Hoping my parts start rolling in mid week and maybe get it setting on axles next weekend or the following week.

got the axles out time to start cutting brackets

 

So I had to go on a trek today to get my rear leafs but I did get the jeep at what I hope is ride height and the axle under it. Tomorrow I'm going to get it on it's own weight in the rear with any luck

 

Well no luck getting the rear leafs in I'm gonna have to make different shackles theres always tomorrow. I did start grinding off the brackets on the front end and got the rear bumper put on.
