Thanks. Yes I mounted a 48", but I'm already rethinking it. Too tall to get in and out of the garage, and yesterday we ran a dry wash with a lot of low hanging branches and brush and it was banging and clanging all day. I'm thinking I could get away with a smaller antenna since it's right in the middle of the roof.

They're about $85 through Amazon.

There's a small module that I mounted under the dash, it's about 3" x 1". It has the power, ground, antenna connector and a connector that goes to the mic. Took about 20 minutes to install the whole thing once I decided where I wanted everything.
