I ended up buying a RE 4.5" leaf pack to level things out.

Also just bought these shiny guys. Plan is to run 285/75-17's which is about a 34 x 12" tire.

This weekend I spent a couple hours cutting off the rear shock mounts and installing relocation brackets. Gained about 3" of clearance. Now I need to work on proper bump-stops for the rear.

Out with the old . . .

Built a set of rear bumpstops with junk I had laying around the garage. Just need to weld them to the spring plates and they're done.

I bought a stock 98' xj and have been adding goodies since. This is one of the most inspirational threads I've ever seen. Beautiful work, great choice in parts, and exceptional pictures.

Which T-case do you have? Im guessing an np231...
I ask because I have the same T&T LA kit, but my t-case skid hangs down about an inch below the crossmember. hmmm... did I mount mine wrong? or I wonder if I got sent an NP242 t-case skid?

Yes, it's a 231 and the T-Case skid is level with the crossmember on mine.

That's what I thought... I emailed T&T and sent them a few pics of mine. Apparently I got sent an NP242 skid by mistake

I finally couldn't stand the new wheels sitting in boxes in the garage anymore. I picked up a set of 4 used 315/70-17 BFG AT's for $80. Really wanted KM2's or MTR's, but these will do for now. Should get me by until I can afford to buy new.
