The Heep randomly died at work. Ran fine 2 hours before, then I get in to start it, it chimes for a split second as I turn the key then nothing. No noise, no lights, not even the horn. Thought the battery died and plugged in our charger. Nothing. Finally undid the negative side and put it back on amd voila, a stuttered start, but it started. Maybe an aftermath of my bad engine cleaning? Idk, but I don't like that.

mine did that a few times and I replaced the terminals and it's all better now. I'd try taking something and cleaning the terminals. A wire brush or something like that. Might help, also heard corrosion in the wires messes it up too.

I cleaned the terminals not too long ago so there isn't much corrosion. The terminals themselves though have seen better days. My battery is only little over a year old, same with the alternator (did at the same time). I might just have a bad ground I have to search for. Has been fine since.
are you getting them put in or doing it yourself? When are they going in?
I want to do it myself with some help because having a shop do it is expensive, but at the same time I'd rather have professionals do it cause I'm still researching. Not sure when I'll do it. I might when I get my LSD so I can get it all in at the same time.

I want to try and re gear myself also but it sounds like a professional only thing from what I've heard. I'm on 31s now I'm hoping maybe 33s in the future so I'm debating 4.10 vs 4.56. I'm really curious to see how your 4.56 turns out with the 32s.

From what I've read and what people have told me, my 32s are over sized with their tread, so it's almost a 33. My buddy has brand new 32" Cooper SSTs and mine are about a 1k miles worn in and they're about an inch taller. I was originally going for 4.10s, but with 4.56s I would have no fear going up another tire size except for backspacing. Also with 32s amd 4.56s I'll have a bit more pep off the line, which is what I'm lacking. Only highway speeds would struggle I think, but I don't do much highway driving. 4.10s would be as close to stock as possible for regular 32s, and perfect for 31s. My buddy is putting 4.10s in his so I might try and do a comparison when mine are in.

I lack power everywhere, I often pull a small (4x8) trailer around for landscaping and it sucks. It doesn't like going on the highway (constantly in and out of overdrive) it's just not happy with 31s and stock gears. But I don't want to do 4.10s and then get 33s down the road and be in the same boat I am now. If it didn't cost so much it would be Easier to decide but it is EXPENSIVE to regear.
Snow came. Got about 6"-7" Friday night into most of Saturday. Too bad I was working the whole day, no time to play, or even test out the MTRs, everything was frozen by the time I got off work. All melting now with 50° weather and rain.
Snow's gone. Been on the grind with work everyday. Still need to replace my front hard brake lines, might as well do the rear one too. Also forgot I got my light switches, relays, fuse, and harnesses for my lights. The 50" led bar up top, 2/4 3x3 led pods on the back of the rack, and I'm also looking into some PIAA driving lights with amber bulbs for driving in the snow as back up for the TruckLite headlights I want to get as I've heard they tend to frost over in very cold weather because of the lack of heat from the led.
Trucklite Led headlights on the way thanks to RedStar! No more crappy headlights plus I'll be able to aim them properly now. Still waiting for FedEx to ship another piece to help fix my steering, everytime they send it I'm no one is home to sign, so I had them take it to the nearest FedEx to me to hold so I can pick it up. Bad move since it takes over 3 days apparently to move a little package 2 towns over.
