Also have this big box of random undercoating/ rust prevention (+60 more not in the box), paint sealant/wax, and interior cleaner/spray from my stepdad's work they were just going to throw out. Spring cleaning anyone? It's warm enough haha. 45° on Christmas ain't bad.
Winter finally caught up. No snow. Instead we got this nasty sleet, probably around 4" of it here. Slippery and a pain the clear, fun though. Rescued a Prius too. Bottomed out on a curb in front of the grocery store. It's raining now and everything's melting. Drive safe out there people.
Trying to get everything together before the 16th, a group is going wheeling at the Badlands park and I wanna go. Bad. New brake lines needed, new bumper bracket needed, and I still need to install my rear hitch.
Oh. And I found out a goddamn mouse had been living underneath my back seats! Folded them over today and found a ball of insulation and little poops. No clue how long it's been there, or if it's still here, but definitely washing the entire carpet when I get the chance.
Definitely not having a repeat of last winter. Salt's a *****, a nice wash every couple weeks or after the ice starts melting and the salt gets kicked up again should hopefully protect my baby.
Possibly getting the chance to use a shop garage with my buddy. I'll finally be able to get my brake lines re done and get the new bumper bracket in. Helping him do his 4.10 gears, TrueTrac lsd, and rear fender flares. Maybe I'll get my led lights on and winch hooked up too, who knows
Pretty good day. Went to the Jeep and Greet and brought my buddy, met alot of cool people and the turn out was awesome! At least 20 Jeeps I think, 1 ZJ, 4 TJs, a JKU, and the rest were XJs lol.
6 or 7 aren't pictured as they came later.
Got to the shop later tonight, was only able to replace my bumper bracket. Forgot the brake lines at home but my buddy installed a remote starter on my Jeep and helped him with his flares.
All I need to do is the brake lines and it'll be offroad worthy!
