ok so they got it running. then it died again it has no fuel pressure. they tested and determined that I now need a new fuel pump
I only drove it for 1 week and its consumed over $1000. at this rate I cannot afford to keep it

So $600 and shop didn't fix it? Bull. They should install that new pump for free. I hate most shops though.

And don't give up hope yet. This kind of thing could happen to ANY vehicle modified or not.

Thanks man I'm hanging in there. But this was a huge hit and my savings are raped
And the pump is still under warranty they will replace it
And my buddy towed me with AAA so that was nice

$75 coolant flush
$200 alignment (and bad parts replaced)
$100 Trying to fix it myself
$85 for them to diagnose it because I couldn't fix it
$515 in parts and labor
$60 gas

So yeah it sucked up $1,035 in one week

Raped indeed.

I haven't followed the thread before I seen it said you were selling it and buying a ricer...lol

But were you having issues before the build up?

Wait, so they still charged you $85 to diagnose it even though they worked on it? You have to be ****ing kidding me.

I'd seriously get a print out of everything they are doing and post it up. Something is just weird with that whole deal.

I gotta say, the Jeep is coming along nicely. I dropped an LS6 in a 99 Camaro and rebuilt the T56 and swapped in a 12 bolt...I had nothing but problems afterwards. Took over a years worth of cash and hard work. I ended up selling 6 months after I completed the project. I kept fixing things and new problems kept coming up. Anyway, the guy I sold it to called me about a month ago with some engine questions. He's adding a turbo so I asked how it was running. NOT ONE F'in PROBLEM SINCE HE GOT IT.

Don't give up. You messed with a bunch of old s**t and old s**t doesn't like being messed with. All the issues will get resolved and it will be better than ever.

the beast lives!

the beast also needs about 4" more uptravel from the rear shocks. can't even get close to full stuff. I am very happy with the front though not bad for short arms
