Got the engine back

Not bad
1200 for a complete motor. (700+ for crank and pistons)
Stroked for under 2 grand. Oh wait Jk
12 10w-30
2 bosch Filters (3614)
New antifreeze 2 gallons
water pump
was 150 autozone, so really
2100ish
They didn't paint my block though.... So I guess I might have to buy blue?? haha
Oh and my crank spacer is supposedly being drop shipped from new mexico by 505 performance. Hopefully it gets here tomorrow.
Pictures to come! lots and lots. then a stroker video

Engines in. Was cranking to try and build oil pressure. Didn't work so I took off the distributor to prime it. My prime tool fell in the engine .... drained the oil, took off oil pan got it out and put distributor back in. Got oil pressure almost instantly. Soon it will start!!

Started good sounds quieter! Broke the cam in and then went to break the rings in but it wouldn't go above 2500. It just gets rough and misfires. Fiddled with the distributor for a while but now its way off, will try to figure it out tomorrow. Any ideas just let me know. I swore I had the distributor on perfect so maybe its something else. Ideas are appreciated.

Man, can't wait to see a video of this. But with your problems, you check your fuel pressure? Have any vacuum leaks? Got everything connected or adjusted to the trans right?

nightmare. tried to pull the HB off and destroyed the threads in the crank. took the whole front end apart today (pretty much only the hood had to go on this morning) tried to put a new key in and it fell in the timing cover. Had to tear all that apart..................going to have to buy a bigger key and a timing cover gasket tomorrow hopefully my oil pan gasket seals too when its all said and done.
I hope and pray that maybe just putting the HB on with a key will solve my problems.
I called the machine shop and he thinks im too advanced.
With the HB on I will be able to set it perfectly TDC and put the distributor in and either solve my problem or take timing out of the equasion.
Fuel pressure is 31, 40 with the vacuum off. so that's fine. Maybe an injector, but i dont think so..
