So i too off my sway bar. That's not it. Threw it into 4wd and still clunked so it's not an axle ujoint. Replaced a u joint in my driveshaft so i have 4wd again, or 3wd if your that guy that says i dont have true 4wd
Im thinking engine mount or tranny mount now. Noises will make a person go insane!!

My 91 makes front end clunks too. I have a 3" lift on it and I only hear clunks at torquey moments like when I come off of a stop and/or a lil too hard into 2nd - especially going uphill. Not positive if that's your situation but I'm pretty sure it's the motor mounts failing as they are just visibly rotten on my XJ which is understandable for a 20 year old vehicle. The smarter, more experienced people talk about it over here >>>> http://www.jpmagazine.com/howto/31818/index.html
I'm gonna go ahead and change the trans mount too just as preventive maintenance.

Hood louvers and electric fans in my near future
I'm not having fun in the sand or anything
the louvers I got were cheap and sexy and who doesn't want DirtBound offroads fan conversion!

Put my hood vents on today
Ebay (marine vents) ~30 bux
Taking a cutoff wheel to my hood was kinda of iffy but it worked out good

All In all i think they look alright, they were uber long and bearly fit between the 2nd layer in the hood (I only had to cut through 1 layer of sheet metal) Hopefully this and My Fan kit that I ordered will make for some fun times in the sand
By the way, These tires at 14 PSI = I can go anywhere in the sand

Alright, So got my fan kit today and installed it. The kit itself is awesome, Max over at dirtbound offroad did a good job making this kit. comes with almost everything you need.
Two things of advice to anyone who gets the kit
1. You will need to cut the header panel(didn't figure that out for a while....)
2. Check (open the threads) on the sensor unit. Mine didn't get enough liquid Teflon pipe sealant in it and I leaked some fluid. Ill let max know that it didnt get enough
All in all, electric fans will be nice. The A/C stays Ice cold at a stop
We'll see how it does out wheeling and on the highways(I don't imagine it will, but one can hope!)

Shoved big Bertha aka 136 amp alternator into her home. What an evening. Bought my left side ball joints too.
Ill get them done and play in the sand
