Rusty's steering
Bought a steering upgrade, Cause I need an alignment bad!

Also, my stupid axle is leaking after doing my ball joints so the new seals are on the way. Yay for complete disassembly of my front end

Steering is good. Got an alignment. Still pulls left. The steering is funky and only allows 360 degrees of adjustment and you have to take the tre off but........

My engine died...

Rebuild kit is 500ish and I will try to find a stroker crank and rods. Anyone ever done just a 4.5?

Got the engine out and torn apart. Where it broke?; I dunno yet. Pistons are good. Cnnctng rods good. Haven't taken mains off yet but crank rotates easy. I'm stumped but its prolly cause its 1am

Also. Anyone know why my Jeep is running so damn lean? My head is white, my spark plugs are white and cyln's 3,4,6 are white. My exhaust is white and my exhaust valves are dry. My intakes are wet and gunked up but not much cholesterol overall.

The only CEL code I got before I tore it apart was 122455 or +5v at the tps. Could that make it run lean??

Also as we rotated the crank, we got some serious air leakage from somewhere, rings look good.

Pics tomorrow.

K. Pretty much I took apart a good (minus the sticky valves) engine to find out that my torque converter bolts were loose and my flywheel was knocking back and forth

So here's my plan

New fly wheel
Hot tank engine
Rering kit and new valve seats
New lifters.

4.2 crank
If I can find kb994 pistons ill buy them, if not 4.2 connecting rods

Any other suggestions??

Hey thanks, I'm really excited about the engine too. Hopefully I'll enjoy it for a month before I leave

The list
Crank 300ish dollars (We'll find out the true cost when I find out how much parts plus is shipping it for (they got it out of texas, man these things are getting rare))

Pistons 430$ Kb944 30K over

Engine work and kit 900-1000$

Injectors 70 $ 24lb hour fomoco ev1 injectors

Flex plate 120$ (the actual problem with my jeep, Ill post up the video one day. sounds terrible)

Engine mounts 36$

Tranny mount 31 $

Oil, Filter, Air Filter 30$

antifreeze and distilled water 30$

Yikes. Please no one add that up

Old Crank. If anyone needs it, its perfect 100$

Old Cam. Useless

Bare block. Anyone know how much this weighs?
Either Im a Bamf and can dead lift like 200 pounds, or this block is a light weight Regardless, it's in the truck ready to go to the machine shop

Since the block was out, I took the Oil Filter Adapter off. I'm pretty sure it was my oil leak
Now I get to use 3614 or something like that Oil filter

The roll pin you have to get out of the block (dunno how you would do it with the block in the jeep D

Im so strong!! haha

Bought some new goodies

27$

42$

Comes with wire harness and everything.
Not a wide band, but It'll do.
Also It's tinted when off so that's cool, and it lights up blue, like my Jeep
haha all my other interiors are blue too so yea.

Machine shop called today.
My engines done getting machined
770$
They are gonna assemble it
225$

So that's been nice.

They'll be done wednesday, my father will bring it down on friday, and as soon as I'm done wheeling(1998 CR250 with a Paddle in the dunes:,D) on saturday,
I will my coworker and make him come help me put her together
we will redbull to make it through the night and we will :wrench: (I know there's no smily but really, this is a jeep site, there should be a wrenching smilly. Haha.) and get her done!
Oh and I'm keeping my injectors unless my Air fuel gauge doesn't like them.
