Friday August 5th
Since I was gonna go to Rausch the next day, I needed to catch up on something really quick. Replacing the transmission mount.

I think it look pretty dang good
I don't know if I ever took pics of the crossmember I made few years ago but here it is

All set!

Last Saturday (August 6th).
Went back to Rausch again.
Had a good time. Except that I noticed the pinion angle look really high. Saw that I badly bent the OME leaf packs (brand new). Oh well. I guess time for new leaf packs. I have a set of Dodge Dakota leafs sitting in the garage that I ll have to use now.
I have more pictures that the others took of me. I ll have to get them. But I have only one for now

All in a good day's work

OUCH! Yeah those OME leafs ARE a bit too soft if that's what they're gonna do.
I like that pic of your wife chillin' on top of the XJ man. She seems like a pretty cool chick. Happy Anniversary again, btw.

So yesterday I had time to replace the leaf packs with a Dakota set. Not a bastard pack set. Actual leaf packs off a Dakota.
Supposedly it ll give me a 1" stretch in the wheelbase so let's see how that's like.
Since the leaf packs are so long. I ended up drilling new holes on my shackle relocation brackets. I should have drilled it in better place but oh well.
I'm not quite sure how I feel about this. Lol. Cause it's reverse wrapped around the bushing so it kinda interfere with the shackles

Let's see how this set last me this time. I'm heading up to Rausch creek next weekend.
