Long time with no updates, but good news are that Jeep is now inspected and works just fine. Next to do is new springs and control arms and alignment.

Bumber backbone done and mocking up the lights:


I used the original bumber to cover it. Cover is quickly dismounted with four bolts and I probably later do corner pieces from pipe.

 

Here is DIY lightmounts for hellas. Quicky done and not pretty but works, attached with stainless gastight poppers and sikaflex.

Hi! Thank you. I am going to Kola this next summer for 2 weeks. No I dont speak Russia. I only know couple of words, like: bolshoy katastroph.

 

I mounted 31" AT:s for inspection, these are with studs.



..and did these rear quarters with mudflaps, quarters are easily dismounted with 3 bolts/side. Inspection man was happy!

 

Finally did the rest of u-joints. double with new centering ball:

I didnt like the red switches, so I removed them:

 

 

Put 32" back and mounted lightforces with DIY lightbar. Winch is connected but snorkel not yet.

Didnt like the white lettering, so I painted them black.

This is the lift I purchased, RE 3,5" with full leafs, I got those QD2:s and adjustable chromo LCA:s with the price of not adjustable set.

Now waiting for longer front brake hoses and stronger uca:s. I dont know yet, if I buy or build new upper control arms.
