Well JCR has my XJ...

Really weird not seeing it in the drive at night...

They should have the axle work done by the end of the week, and all the fab work done within the next two weeks.

Funny note, dropped it off with them last Fri, right next to a friends TJ. TJ needs new brackets for the 8.8 he slapped in... By the time I pick her up late this week, should be two more friends rigs down there... LOL

Also, ordered V-5's from summit on Fri and should have them by Wed! Sweet!

As an aside... Are the center caps worth it? I can see keeping salt and stuff out of the front, but is there any other reason for them? I'm thinking they are going to get banged up wheeling... Thoughts?

New wheels are on!

I only got two center caps because I didn't know how they would look... I think I might order two more now. Ok, lets go wheelin!!!

I also have the tc skid, but I need to paint it up before I install it. Just waiting on weather.

New bumper should be done by the end of the month.

Well got started on the rear bumper. The new one is all painted up and ready to go.

To start

Got the old one off... after all the welds broke on one side, arg...

Oh and for record, I got the old one off in one piece Arctic!

But...

Who ever put the hitch on need to run the redneck Olympics! The front bolts came off rather easy, but the rear ones were put one with carriage bolts in metal plates... WTF? Got one off, but the other is spinning and I can't get it out. Going to cut it off tomorrow.

Hopefully have it all done by the end of the weekend...

Well the TRE on the track bar is in, lets see how long this one lasts... Last one broke last week... arg... On a good note the old one was under warranty so it cost me nothing.

This weekend got around to getting new seals into the front axle. The drivers side one was leaking, again. After pulling the whole front apart found out why...

The drivers side is on the left...

Got the new seals in and it sealed around the grooved part unlike the old one, but I will be picking up new shafts soon since the groves are so bad.

Since the cover was off, decided to drain and pull the rear as well and clean them up. So PyrateGyrl cleaned them up and we painted them.

Found the drain plug in my rear was a redneck add on...

I think that they ended up looking good!

Well after installing the JCR Stage 3 bumper I noticed that the reverse lights were covered by the tire carrier. So 20 bucks or so at wallyworld, about 2 hours of running wires and I have the fix.

And thats my youngest the had to pose when she saw the camera come out.

Rackafrackensonofamountengoat!!!!!

Ok, so i was swapping out my steering box today and ran into nothing but problems... First I broke off the return piece on the reservoir, stupid plastic.... Then After we got another one in, we broke the belt adjustment, that little piece that the screw goes through and the power steering pump bracket pivots on... ARG!!!!

From what I can tell the only place to get one is the junk yard so thats where I'm heading tomorrow moring, unless anyone here can tell I can get one from the parts stores with a part number...
