Looks sick man! I'm not real big on chop tops unless they're done right and you sure have man. I love it. It might also help you're in NC haha. I'm from Raleigh

I don't think that there's any more pressure being put on the glass than there was before I fixed it into it's current location. I know that there has to be some room to play in the back glass frame because in the two cherokees I've had, every once in a while I could here the frame squeeking around the windshield while flexing. I'm hoping for the best.

Thanks for all the complements, y'all people!

Looks nice with the newer model taillights too, witch this is what mine will look like when I get the later model taillights and "Full Hatch" on.
I plan on making a fiberglass deck lid for the bed of it. Either I'll put a hinge on the back of the enclosed part, or just make it lift off completely. If you plan on installing later model taillights, be prepared with a torch and a hammer. The mounting surface of the later model taillights is flat and your mounting surface has a bulge that the taillights are formed to fit over. What do you mean by "full hatch"?

I ment by full hatch as not cut in half, like you did to the white one.

Well, this isn't necessarily part of my actual build, but I built a cake that ended up pretty cool, so I decided to post a picture of it. My little boy turned 2!

I'm getting closer to having a finished product, as far as chopping/enclosing my jeep goes. I decided to pretend I was Chip Foose and do some final renderings of how my project will look.

I've filled in all the holes on both the steel tailgate and the fiberglass liftgate. I'm half way done with sealing the enclosure. The c-pillar and the roof supporting it have been fiberglassed to seal the enclosure, bondoed and sanded. I'm going to have to order some more Grizzly Grip, white bedliner.

Lol, it's looking like a sport trac. But I love the creativity you put into it. I would drive it. Great job!

Thanks alot! I made those flares out of aluminum angle. I made templates of the fenders and bent the angle on a bench vise accordingly. Including making the templates, cutting the angle, bending the angle, cutting the angle again, sanding, painting, and installing, it takes about 2 hours for all four. This isn't soda can aluminum either.. I install hurricane shutters, and the roll down shutters that we build weigh +300 lbs, and this angle holds that weight. I can stand on my flares, but I mostly use them to hold fluids/drinks when I'm working under the hood.

yeah i work at a shop that does inspections but i dont have to worry the cherokee is a 1990 so i shouldnt have a problem with emissions untill they change the laws again..
