I am waiting for Mark at Detours to send me my Tail Bone for the rear of Babajeep. I ordered it in Sept. and Mark said it would take 90 days but now I need to inquire because I want to get bigger tires soon and need a place to hang the spare.

The sliders are holding up well. With only 3" lift and 235 tires I get a chance to use them often.
I am waiting to weld them to the frame until I see if frame stiffeners are needed for the trails I do.
They do hang down a bit and if I was to change I would do the mod where you replace the rocker panel with a 2x4 .188" steel tube.
I have lifted the whole rig just on the sliders using a rack with the arms just on the sliders and it held strong.
Sierra Nevada's are beautiful and I am grateful everyday that I get to live here. Where are you located?

I have used it mostly to pull over oak trees that are close to houses by hooking up the winch to a pulley and cutting the base of the tree. Sometimes the trees were really leaning over the house and the 9000 lb winch motor really strained.
This thing is bullet proof and I have on order the Tailbone to add more recovery point and to hold my spare tire. I can still keep the stock look which I really like.
The Backbone is straight forward to install and only took me three hours to do if I remember right.

The backbone has been put to the test and passed with flying colors!

I am going to drill it out so it will accept the same shackle on both sides.

Strange, I was thinking about this when I was working on changing the stainless steel bolts on the winch to grade 8 bolts. I only have one shackle in because one holes bigger than the other. That is why I have two different shackles on the front.

I have a JCR Transfer all painted up and ready for installation now. I will get some pictures up of the installation such as it Will be.
I also order HD Off Road relocation brackets and a Magniflow muffler which should be here next week.
I am going to call Mark at Detours Monday and have him put shock cheaters and extenders in the box he is sending with my tail bone.
I will be doing some upgrading soon getting ready for summer wheeling in the mountains.

Put the JCR skid plate on but forgot to take my camera so I have no pictures.
It is very straight forward install but I don't like the order of the instructions. JCR wants you to put the side bolts in first then the front. On my last XJ I got a transfer skid from Rusty's, too much money for shipping to the west coast, and it came with no instructions so I winged it. I put the front bolts on first and it pulled it up and back at the same time. Following the JCR instructions I put the side bolts on first and in doing so the skid slid forward a 1/16"
so it does not fit snuggly on the cross arm.
Other than that I like the way it fits and the 11 attachment points make a strong, secure attachment.

Ordered 5 soft 8's and 31's for Babajeep. Should be here next week. WHOOT!
Detours Tailbone is on the way and then it is saving up for a gear change to 4:10 and a selectable locker for the front.
then all the little things that will make it special.
