It should all be here next week so I will put pictures up when they are installed.
Yes, you are right, I got black Cragars soft 8's, 15x8 with 4" of back spacing, black center cap and black lug nuts. I went with Treadwright 31x10.5 tires without the extra sipping of walnut shells and glass pieces because right now money is a little tight.
The whole thing was a little less than $1000 delivered.

Sweet!! I was curious to see if you get any rubbing. I want to do the same setup but I don't want to trim. Let me know.

Well finally the day has come to put new shoes on Babajeep.
I went with Treadwright 31" tires on Cragars soft 8's.
I love the look and Babajeep drives much better. I swear that the handling s better because when I drive these mountain roads I can feel the Jeep holding the road better. I need to take it off road to see how that goes but right now as you will see I rub on the front bumper.

Now here the rub (pun intended)

I can adjust the LCA back to stock but they are at 16" now, what they should be for a 3" lift, so I guess I will go the hacker route unless I can come up with a better idea.

So I took off the end cap so I can drive around waiting for that better idea.

Ideas, thoughts, suggestions or any insight is welcomed.

I came on this thread and asked that question because in the front I have 19" from my center of the cap to the bottom of the flare. Which = 1.5" of lift. In the rear I have 19" from the center of the cap to the bottom of the flare which is 2" of lift.

When I asked about this some people thought that I should measure from the top of the axle to the bottom of the frame rail for a more accurate measurement. I have not done this yet as I felt that what was said was correct and that 'Different years the flare maybe at different heights.'

But that said, Rough Country does not have a 2" lift with new front and rear springs.

So I just though all was OK and since I did not measure axle to frame that I got what I paid for but now I am unsure.

Out with the old!
This was an easy thing to do as I just installed the RC LCA a few weeks ago and the bolts came out really easy.
Look at the bushing and you can see the seam where they just bent some brass around to form the sleeve where the bolt goes.
Might be hard to see but that little bit of room around the bolt was enough to echo through the Cherokee like the front end was ready to come off. (OK that might be a bit over exaggerate)
Here are the lower control arms side by side. You can see that the RC arms are big and beefy. They do have some weight to them the bushing are just not up to snuff.

Hey skipper, I swear when you first put the lift on it looked like a solid 3 inches?!?! But I agree with the others that it doesn't look like that now. I have herd that the treadwrite tires run large so that could be part of the rubbing issues. I guess worse case you could just get a cheapo budget boost (spacers/shackles) and be at a solid 3 inches if not more. Get rough country to set it straight, I hear they have better customer service than they did in the past.
The jeep is starting to look real good, and camping season is rapidly approaching. I'm thinking we need to organize something down by slick rock and deer valley. Cheers buddy!

Gold Valley and Snake Lake sounds good too for a tune up run. I am sure we can get some guys together for that run.
I am going to order some RE 4.5" front coils and add HD shackle relocation brackets and 2" shackles to level it out real soon.
I should be ready by May to do some camping so lets go and set some dates, the dance card fills up fast.
