haha...thats exactly what i do, i tell her " MOM! check this out, this is what my jeep is gonna look like tomarrow!" haha and then i usually get a dirty look, following with a quote along the lines of "its my house, my rules" or "i bought the damn thing, i can take it away too"

but then again after the fact she did like the way my rockers turned out...the only thing she doesnt like, is the "wheel things" and my "playpin" (surco)

haha ahhh yes i keep sayin im getting it but it keeps getting pushed off lol. The mom says its okay and I have the money for the lift, trackbar, and rims but not enough for the tires so i need to save a little more money. Another aspect is my uncle who plays a huge part in my life hes like anti-moifcations and i need to talk to him about but like he didnt even like my homemade intake so suspension componets are HUGE to him lol but once i talk to him i'll order them and hopefully install them short after.

Which brings us into saving money which i need a job. all i can say is michigan sucks even teens are getting laid off left and right. I currently have a job pending i guess but i need to get into co-op so i can get around the child labor laws reguarding using lifts and working under cars.

The job I hopfully will have is at a local jiffylube type place just changing oil doing alighnments and whatnot. Half of the guys that work there drive jeeps 2 XJ's and TJ. Needless to say when i pulled in for the first time they all came out and were looking at it. lol

what about you?

haha school girls were that cool lol

You don't want a dealership job! Trust me.. theres not a whole lot of money to be made anymore. Tools set you back further than you can go forward.

haha something better happen or were all F'ed

Okay so I got sort of a funny/scary story about the jeep today since were "school girls"

So im driving around today like normal i go over to target and park up on a snow pile as usual. and when i come out and get up to 45 on the road and something is nocking on the front end. it wasnt too bad so im like w/e i'll go home and check the front end. It was to damn cold to stop it was -1 today w/o the wind chill lol. So i get home and all the steering componets are fine well normal lol. so later me and my buddy go over to my other friends house to look at his explorer cause he lost control while drifting and hit a tree. After telling him he should have a jeep we left. Still nocking but its getting worse. So i think i either flatspotted a tire or lost a wheel weight. So it really starts pissing me off so i stick my head out the window while driving. and my front drivers side wheel is vibrating! im like holy crap i need to get this thing home NOW. so i get back on the road to head home and its getting worse so im like oh jesus. So i turn into the fire stations parking lot to scope it out again. So i look and 4 out of my 5 lugs are about to fly off. So im freaking out cussing and flipping out. so i tightened them down and it was fine. but it was scary i dont think those thing would have held up much longer and i could of ended up fllipping the jeep or something.

After thinking about it. The dealership had just done a tire rotaion and i guess someone decided not to torq the lugs on my one wheel.

So after being freaked out my friday night was over and here i am. lol

About the jobs, im with you. I live in northern indiana where all those factorys are located and there are thousands of laid off factory workers lookin for jobs. makes it hard as hell for other people to find jobs. lets hope like hell this economy gets a boost soon. Make sure you check your lugs on your other wheels, thats some scary ****. Just proves, you want something done right you gotta do it yourself.
