Both seats are "in", but I need to find a local welder so I can cut out the 2 1/2" of height, and then get them welded back together. But so far, very happy with how it has turned out.
Glad to hear you got the headlight harness and got it to work.. Keep going with it. You only get (1) one shot here on the planet...ENJOY IT!
yeah, the people who wired up the replacement head light switch connector just did it wrong, so Had to fix it correctly, which was simple once I figure out what wires should have gone where.
Small update, Pulled it out of the garage, as it is getting "cooler", and I need more room to do work on it than the garage provides, it will make life easier. Man I wish I was stronger, I used to throw around 100lb bales of hay growing up like they were nothing, but my job of sitting at a desk watching progress bars has made me weak. once I'm done with the jeep I should start lifting.
anyways, threw on the T-case drop in prep for my lift when it comes, still working on the seats, since I basically had to start over. Trying to figure that part out still, how I want to get them in there. got the dash back together, so that looks a lot better now for sure.
Every time I get something done I feel like my to-do list is only getting longer, not shorter. But this next week I am going to borrow my dad's power washer, and clean the underside pretty well, since it's just grimed up, working on anything SUCKS since you fight getting greasy dirt all over you, your tools, the ground, etc.
Next big jobs:
finish the seats
oil pan gasket+rear main seal+oil filter adapter o-rings (have all the parts but the o rings)
Front axle - Drive shafts/vacuum delete, new seals, new fluid, bearing units, front brakes. I was going to put a locker in there, but for now... skipping. the one I bought didn't fit, and the other options are in the 4 figure range... I would rather get a beefier axle down the line when I need it, and do a locker then.
Rear axle - re seal the cover and put fresh fluid in it, and install new rear brakes.
Drive shafts - New ujoints
rear bumper + tire carrier is here, so need to install that.
Convert A/C to R134a, need to see what that takes to do.
Still waiting for the lift to show up.
need to get tires.
So, Something a bit different from my build, but wanted to throw it out there, I was given the opportunity to give away a laptop on my main youtube channel, and not a slouch. A Lenovo Legion 5, with a 10th gen core i7, GTX1660TI graphics, and a whole lot more. the rules are pretty simple:

You're looking for an air intake? Cowl snorkel isn't a bad option, I have an old spectre kit on mine. Lee Scoggins on this post has all of the parts listed out to make your own, it's just over $100 https://www.facebook.com/groups/1794...7304815790248/
Little help:
got my bumper off to install an after market one, but I have a trailer hitch, is there any way to get these bolts off without removing the gas tank? It's a T50, i have one that fits on my socket, but it is WAY too long to fit in there, I am going to pick up an allen wrench style, hopefully that gives me the clearance (and torque) I need to remove, currently soaking in some PB blaster. but does anybody else have any other suggestions?

I am going to keep it stock for now. there are so many vacuum lines going to it, I don't want to screw with those right now. I've made changes to my air box in the past, and it was a HUGE mistake. was chasing vacuum issues for forever after that.

I wish, they don't sell a complete kit anymore, and I would have to piece it back together, and when I started to do that, it go VERY expensive VERY quickly. I ordered an Rubicon Express kit, but everything is back ordered till mid October. but I bought the "super ride" kit over the "super flex" hoping to get a better ride quality on and off road. It's mostly just to take the kids camping and not crazy off roading.
Finally got the rear bumper off. It had been hit on the diver's side, not bad, but enough to crumple it a bit and make it an absolute PITA to get to the bolts on that side. I thought I was going crazy because I saw how easy it was to do, and I started on that side, then I went to the passenger side and it was super easy... so it was just where it had been bumped. The trailer hitch was a bigger pain to get off. the room to fit a tool between the gas tank and the bolts was nearly non existent, so once I got them loose, I used some vice grips to turn them out, it was slow process, but now I can start installing the new bumper! (and get the garage space back that the dang boxes take up!
