Well my Craigslist addiction brought me to another find. Brand new JCR Gas Tank Skid for $175. Still in packaging and un-painted.

I have been seriously bit by the Jeep Bug and need to put all transaction to a stop. I will order JCR Nutstrips & JKS Quick Disco's here soon than I am going to let my wallet re-couperate for quite sometime.

Super clean XJ! Nice parts choices too. Where did you buy the front tow hooks and headlight upgrade stuff from?

Looks like we're from around the same area. I've been wondering if there were any trails up at Browns that a stock XJ could handle, your pics answered my question. Guess I'll have to head up there soon.

Thanks. I bough the C4x4 Tow Hooks & Brackers from Jeepinoutfitters.com and my headlight set-up (IPF Bulbs, IPF Housing, ARB Wiring Harness) from Jeepinoutfitter.com as well. They ship fast.

Yeah man, your just a few miles up north from me. Just bring somebody with you and as long as you got recovery points, you can tackle a lot of trails out there. It's a blast. I am trying to go here soon with my new suspension on.

So I took a trip out to South-Central Oregon. We were situated on 320 Acres, sitting at an elevation of 4675 ft., and about 80 Miles SE of Bend, OR.

Before posting, I want to make clear that all pictures were either taken at a STATE PARK or on PRIVATE PROPERTY.

I was fortunate enough to bring along my Jeep to my girlfriend's dad best friends house. It was a beautiful piece of property. Trails were tight though so we were mostly on some crazy Japanese 4x4 or Kawasaki Mule DIESEL! It was a blast so without further a due, here are some pictures:
This was the other car we brought... Trail Ready?

Nice start to the build, man! What's the verdict on that Emu system? I've been thinking of getting the same lift but hadnt seen anyone on here who'd done the install yet.

Good pics, too, keep 'em coming!

Thanks man, much appreciated. Well I have put about 425+ miles on it so far and it's been good. The only thing right now is that it's a rough ride, but then again that's probably because it has not settled. Weird thing is though, that I drove about 40 miles with 4 people in the XJ just today and the ride was much nicer. So I figure it'll eventually settle and again, we drive a Jeep so theres going to be little rattles here and there. The verdict for me at least is; BUY OME .

Here are some vid's if you guys want to check them out:

Nothing too exciting, but I scored the REAL instrument cluster for a 97-01 XJ. I now can finally see my RPMs, Engine Temp., Oil Pressure, etc. Pumped!

Very cool build! What are you using for the dashboard shots? They look sweet, and I'm hoping its something mounted to the dash and not just a camera

Love the over-dash photos! What kinda lens did you use? Like a fisheye or wideshot or something? Nice xj too! I sure hope you keep it in that good of condition!
