Ditto. Especially in the state of Oregon where I see A TON of rain and sometimes snow/slush. Great overall tire. Although I might be tempted to try out a set of Goodyear Duratracs, due to the overwhelming amount of good reviews for them.
Thanks. I am using a GoPro HD (1080p). Yes it is very sweet, I am in love with it. Yes it is mounted on the dash using a 3M mount that came with the GoPro HD. It would be pretty impressive if someone could shoot that still of photos consistently lol.
Same here. I was fortunate enough to find such a clean stock XJ when I purchased it. I wanted a good foundation to build off and I didn't really pay a bad price for it either. Thanks for the comment.
So do I. I honestly can't get enough of them. I usually end up taking around 250-300 photos a drive... triple shot . I am using a GoPro HD (1080p). I either using a suction cup mount (mount to the windshield) or the 3M mount on the dash. The 3M mount on the dash works best though since I don't have to constantly deal with the suction mount.
I scored this GoPro HD for 50% off due to my girlfriend being an employee of a company that advertises GoPro... Score!.
On a side note, this is when I use the suction mount:

Both video's are shot in 1080p. Needless to say I love my GoPro.

Nice Jeep, I think the newer body XJs with the white paint and black grill are my favorite color scheme(maybe tied with gunmetal grey) , sweet build, go oregon!

Ordered a few more parts:
-OME D22XL AAL.
Due in part that my rear sits a tad bit lower than the front and I do plan on installing the JCR Gas Tank Skid plate so the OME AAL just make sense.
-JCR Nut Strips.
For the JCR Gas Tank Skid Plate.

Your XJ looks awesome. I just moved to Montana from Eugene and I sold my 94 XJ to get here. Ours looked very similar. I have hunted over in FORT ROCK for years and your pics brought back some awesome memories and wheeling times over there.
Your build is going well. Have fun and good luck.
Go DUCKS!!!

Yeah...I moved out here and bought a 97. Just got the lift and tires done. I'm happy with it. I used to camp up on China Hat and we used to love sending all the knuckle heads to go fishing up at Cabin Lake. They never figured out it had no water. I'm happy to see the XJ tradition live on in my family and my wife just gets sideways when I **** away money when I don't tell her. The rest of the time, she's wrenching right along side of me.
Good luck on the wheeling front!
Cheers, from Montana

Just a few updates. Wanted to stop looking at the ugly-ness of my steering wheel so I bought a cover for it.
Before:
After:
Received my D22XL OME AAL so I can get a little more height in the rear:
Reppin':
Contemplating picking up a pair of 30x9.5x15 BFG T/A KOs. There is a gentlemen on CraigsList selling a Discount Tire gift certificate for $400, but it's worth $500. I figure if I sell my current BFGs for $400-$500, it'll be a worth while deal. We shall see.

Thanks Jared. Still contemplating keeping it or selling it. I bought the JCR Nut Strips and I just have to install my OME D22XL AALs. After that I want to see how high the rear sits and then i'll go from there. If I could find a stock GTS, i'd buy that and sell the JCR GTS.
