3 years ago for my 15th birthday my father bought me a bare stock white 98 4 door XJ limited with 155k on it. Lets just say it didnt stay stock long. My dad has been building jeeps for almost twenty years now and helped me make my little grandpa car into a BA toy. First came engine stuff like cold air intake and throttle body spacer. Then fuel injectors and eventually a full engine rebuild. Then came the fun stuff being a 5.5in iron rock offroad long arm kit and 33inch baja claws with an orfab front winch bumper. we also did a full regear to 4.88s and ruffstuff dif covers for my d30 and 8.25. fpr some reason we could not keep it runni g for a while. If it could go wrong mechanically it did so we ended up selling it to a guy in arizona. ( im in tennessee). A year and a half later that same guy contacts us and we end up buying it back however now it runs flawlessly and has some amazing upgrades. Cavfab 1 ton steering, fox reservoir shocks, 35in bfgs and only a couple k more miles. Since then it now has a 52in single row light bar and predator headlights both from high beam offroad and built a custom rear drawer system. The build is far from over amd i dont plan on ever selling this thing.....again.... oh and i plan on daily driving it while i attend the university of tennessee chattanooga this fall!
