First Car and First Build... The Cheep Jerrykee
So I don't know if this is the best idea I've had but I am exhausted from a hard days work on the jeep. I will warn you now.... This is my first car, this is my first build, this is my first attempt at working on cars AT ALL. I am just a bicycle mechanic but here goes!
So the start... Picked it up for a few hundred dollars, it runs, it has working 4wd and it has been rolled by some kids, who then decided to shoot it with a 22. Oh well it's a jeep and that's about all i care about.
And of course, I live in wisconsin, my floors are ****
MORE TO COME

Today I worked alone, which was actually kind of nice, I felt like I got a good bit done. I got the whole trunk area out and started prepping the channels for my stiffeners. Everything is pretty much coated in Krylon Self-Etch, the can leaked ALL over my hands and just everywhere which kind of pissed me off but life will go on.

They are Ruffstuff Specialties. I heard about them over on NAXJA, they look so good, 3/16" from up the front fender to past the (front) leaf mount. I am going to chop the fender section for now and scab weld it on later when I either redo my LCA brackets or go long.

Got nearly nothing done today, was so tired and unmotivated, the heat didn't help. It rained on me, my tools and my cardboard for my cutouts, which my f***in razor couldn't even cut. To top it off I get in my car (my ma's old golf), drive down the block and smack, eclipse to my passenger door. I had the yield sign but didn't even see him coming. So I don't know if this project is going to go anywhere but the scrap yard now. What a terrible day.
