I havent considered doing limiting straps for my chereokee. I have extras from a friend that had them. Maybe if they are short enough, I will consider using them. It would definitely save me from losing my coils during a full flex rock crawl event.

Also I actually did it because if I cycle the suspension and let it droop all the way it will bind on the lower control arms at the coil mount. Eventually it would hammer something out.

I'm running a 9 inch strap. If you blow up the photo with the lower control arm you can see what I mean.
Extra added note. I couldn't even budge the rear spring bolts so I did the typical stuff, PB Blaster etc. Nothing worked. What I found was the center part of the bushing in the spring was rusted solid to the bolt so even if the bolt turned out of the nut ( which it didnt) it wasn't coming out. So I did some cutting with a small air cutter and chiseled the rest off so only the bolt was in the hangers then added some heat to the bolt only and they came right out with a impact.
Looks great. Which steering upgrade did you do? And which axle you going to put in the rear?
I went with CavFab the high clearance one. I think I'm going to move the front end forward about 1/2" and it has plenty of clearance. The rearend is 8.25 with 29 spline axles with 4.11 and Spartan locker. I'm running 33's I could go 35's if I want later. I'm putting the rearend in so I can drive it in the snow this winter with the stock location springs etc. I'm thinking next summer I'll build a 4 link setup.
Ok here's a question. Since I have adjustable upper and lower control arms can I just push the front end forward say like a half inch? It seems like I need that to happen. It looks like I have plenty of clearance from steering etc. It will help with the coils up front not hitting bump stops and the stock driveshaft looks like it's closer on the slip joint than when it was stock so I need the extra play.
