Also I redid my exhaust over the weekend. The cherry bomb was not to bad sound wise, was just a little bit more raspy than i wanted and I did not have a good welder at the time so it was all clamped in and after a week or two started rattling and leaking. picked up a flowmaster 44 from amazon for about 70 bucks, a MIG welder from Norhtern for 120 bucks and the other odds and ends to to the job right for about another 20. Reused the Cat from the first go so all in all id say im in it about 240 or less. I know the welds look ugly (second time welding in my life) but they are strong as *****!
I will eventually get back under and sand them down to make it look better and clean off all the flux. overall it sounds 10x better than the cherry bomb, nice deep rumble. worth every penny and not a single leak or rattle so im proud of it.

true, but I did a 2 1/2 lift already and that is as much as I want. I live in downtown columbia and have to deal with city traffic everyday so i cant get to crazy with lift and tires until I graduate.

I'm running 31" duras and i'm lovin them. Ever since I upgraded these I had so much more traction in mud and on rocks with my 2wd xj. I cannot emphasize how much better they are than street or mud terrains that I once had, I could go places I once would have trouble or get stuck. Now that I just converted to 4wd today I can't wait to test them out fully this weekend.
Also, the pic u posted wern't duras.

pep boys has a version of the cooper discoverer MT for cheap. I just got a price it was 486 for 4 after rebate. Apparently the tire is identical, just rebadged for their sales. That price was for 31-1050-15

Got the same type of tires I had on it already. As a college student 400 is better than 800.
also tore apart the top half of my engine to replace head gasket. was def leaking a little and causing overheating issues as well as some other problems. put in new spark plugs, synthetic oil, thermostat, and intake/exhaust gasket as well. cleaned everything really well while i was on the inside and 15 hours later she is running like a brand new car. amazing what some TLC does for my baby.
