Replaced all the tie rod ends this afternoon. Day and night difference in the smoothness of the steering wheel. Hoping to order the IRO steering rod soon, which is much beefier.
Just ordered a Rubicon Express RE1600 front adjustable track bar so that I can get rid of the stock one with the relocation bracket.
So got my Trac bar in the other day and made a huge difference. Jeep definitely driving the best it has in a while.
I also started the fender process today. Started off by just removing the stock flares and putting on edge trim, for a temporary solution I think it's great. The look is really growing on me
Been having a strange issue the last 3 weeks. I would take the Jeep for a drive, about 10-15 miles, come home and park it. Would take it for another drive about 2/3 hours later, and it would struggle to start, about 4-6 swings before it takes, but on cold starts it is perfect (say now its been sitting for 2 days). I initially thought it was my fuel pump, but why would it start normally on a cold start?
So yesterday I had driven about 15 miles and took the exit off the interstate, and as I approached the ramp the Jeep just cut out, kind of spluttered and just died, had to pull off and stop because had to put it in park to restart it. Anyways it restarted perfectly and drove home without a problem.
My thoughts are either a fuel pump (but it starts fine on a cold start?), or a oil pump, or either a sensor (TPS or CPS)
So now I am trying to diagnose the issue. Anybody perhaps have an idea what it might be?
I had a Bronco before with the same issue. Turned out to be the fuel pump. Couldn't keep up with cfm needed and eventually would die out. Maybe it works better with cold fuel because it's heavier

Vapor lock is my first guess. Second would be you're losing pressure from either an o-ring (injectors or line disconnect at rail), leaky injector, or check valve.

That's another possibility. Thanks for your input!
The rest of the parts arrived this afternoon. Could only start around 8PM as it was too hot (measured 108 outside...). Actually made quite a bit of progress, chemical flushed the system, disconnected all the hoses and got the thermostat housing and water pump removed. Thermostat housing had a strange corrosion build up in it, funny enough the water pump seemed pretty fine except for the inside flange starting to flake.
Will finish up the rest tomorrow morning early when it's a slight bit cooler.
