Well im starting to hear a clunk when im in reverse and i hit the brakes. Sound us from front right area. I suspect my UCA. Its still stock and I'm sitting at 5.5 inches of lift up front. Trac bar is solid so no issues there. I also noticed my tie rod has some roll in it the boots are cracked and the TRE at the pitman arm is actuall torn.

I want b.lee's standard steering....but i would need to weld on new sway bar links and cut off the old ones. I can't weld and i dont have the time to get that all figured out right now. So in going to just do tge ZJ upgrade for now and when im able i will get the b.lees's setup and put it on.

Thanks! Steering is nice and more solid now, bumps travel up to my steering wheel a lot less. Someone on a hatebook group said the new steering looks flimsy...i cant really disagree after looking at hd steering setups. But for a DD I know it's more than adequate.

Next....fixing that horrible clunk/pop when im backing to the right. Im still thinking axle ujoint. Im going to take it to some awesome guys at firestone to see if they can dial it in.

After that...body work! Snow in Virginia is just around the corner so since that black tape is peeling off I either need to get more black tape or fix the problem!! Then i need to still fix that stupid oil adaptor o ring lol. And call up tom woods to figure out shim angles to rid me of vibes at 65mph.

Fixed my tire problem. 33x10.5 cant wait. But that will be down the road. Probably going to get 4.10s or something...not sure.

Maybe I'll have money for a bumper one day lol

More small stuff. I payed firestone to do the front right ujoint. Mechanic also told me my right lca bolt was most likely loose. I tightened it up (it was definately loose) and bam, no more clunk when backing up! Then they did the ujoint.

I was thinking about getting a tacoma...getting a car loan and stuff. But then I had a great idea....just get a 10k loan and pimp out the xj! Same mpg but way more capable! Whole new world now. Super plans. 4.56 gears, elockers, long arms, body work for those holes in the roof, 33x12.5....ah dreams.

Thanks! No pics of it mounted yet because it was dark. Also my water pump just **** the bed so im fixing that this weekend. I was drawn attetion to it because my steering becae VERY stiff and was more difficult the slower i went. Im hoping the belt was just slipping and its not a froze steering pump. We shall see.

Well it was a broke water pump. The steering is fine. Fun times. Had to remove the power steering pulley and everything. Finally got a picture of da bumper.
