96 Jeep Cherokee, Dialing it back a little
My weekend splurge project...
Was a hard wheeling toy for the last 3-5 years. I've picked it up with the project of turning it back from a Weekend wheeler to one of my Daily Driver's.
4.0 I6 with 116k miles.
6" long arm 3-link front and full leaf pack with custom shackle setup in the rear.
JCR offroad winch ready front bumper
Custom rear bumper
JCR rear body armor w/ LED tail-light housings
Frame has been plated and has rock sliders attatched

btw both these axle were welded so this d30 has been beat!
Taking care of the front brakes turned into a bit more work than i expected. Both rotors and pads are LONG overdue for a change. Both wheel bearings are shot and surprise surprise....
Very bad balljoints on the passenger side... knuckle fell right off after i pulled the axle shaft out!
fixing that on another day...
I did however make some time to wash the thing down and do some touch up work with a can of Bedliner.
I picked up a ford 8.8 4.10 lsd w/ disc brakes to swap into the rear.. the front i'll re-gear later on.
Thats the progress for now... more to come when the time is available.

solid weekend of work, Floor boards fixed, picked up some "new" carpet to clean things up a bit. PO cut a section of carpet out and cut the tunnel to replace CPS and never repaired it.
What i did not post for pic is that i actually sealed the floors with bedliner, this is just a rust reform sealer^
Rear driveshaft is pretty sloppy so that will be getting rebuilt this week. Prolly knock out the ball joints this week as well.
