So I got a cheap generalized roof rack for Christmas so I put it on.


Had to make some mods to get the cheap mounts to the rails.

Yeah unfortunately I sold it because I wanted a F-150. Wish I hadn't done it. I might find pictures of it after I sold it before its demise.

lol.... some guy tried to trade me his 04-08 body style f150 about a week ago. Ext cab, 4wd.... told him no thanks.

Eww it's a 3 valve! I have a 2 valve which didn't have those stupid spark plugs getting stuck issue. I'm glad to be getting out from under the truck though.

Yeah, I'm not a huge Ford fan anyway... I like the older Fords better. But I know that stupid 5.4 liter from that series of Fords was a nightmare! And the 4.6l modular isn't much better.

Yeah I had a bad habit of going F-150, XJ, F-150, XJ. I'm about to break that cycle with another XJ or Jeep of some sort. The 5.4 was also a gutless engine and compared to the trucks of 2017, it gets stomped by even the N/A 3.5. That's sad when your N/A V8 can't compete with a N/A 3.5.

Yeah no kidding! But that's kind of the trend of the automotive industry. Take a big block HEMI. 426 displacement, 425 HP.... flash-forward to 2017 where they're taking a 6.2 liter hemi and pumping out over 700 hp out of it from the factory.
