So I decided on making one of these threads because seeing the ones on here starting out stock and growing into some awesome XJ's. These are the pics of the Jeep before I bought it back in October.

So today 11/27 means I have had my XJ for a month :sorcerer: lol. No real mods have been done since I've had to replace the left front hub bearing, fuel pump, and fuel filter. But I have bought a lift kit and put on four tires as a result of Black Friday.
RC 1.75" Lift Kit and 4 new Bridgestone Dueler A/T Revo 2's :gunsmilie: |

Today I lifted it with the RC budget boost I got a couple of months ago.

2" and 235's make a really nice stance for XJ's. It's nothing extreme, but it just looks good. Nice XJ!

So now I'm trying to figure out my dome light issue so I can finally install my new head unit and waiting on the new bumper to put my fog lights in. |

Did some diagnostics and figured that the reason why the dome lights stayed on was because the headlight switch was turned all the way to the left :stupid: so the dome light fuse is back and an bam radio problem solved. Bought a Flowmaster Super 44 and waiting for a buddy to install it. Installed a K&N air filter and noticed a small increase in accel and a MPG but no huge gain.
Edited 9/17: A pic back from March with my XJ and a buddy's MJ and a time I took the Jeep out muddin'. Yes there's a low quality video I can show if there are any non believers |

So an update to build. I installed the L&L bumper I ordered back in December, took the XJ on the first off road adventure since my ownership, and took this teaser shot of the new 6,000 lb. winch and KC Daylighters installed.
Also, it's starting to become less "Mall Rated" ;) |
that winch bumper is awesome. Did it come with pre-drilled mounting holes or did you to that yourself?
|
looking good. I cannot wait to order an L&L fab bumper, but no idea when since I am a college student working two jobs atm. I need to start saving lol!
