Hybrids are the best cages too, strongest that tie everything together.

I love the CB Mount and Amp Combo.
If i didn't already have mine mounted and wired I would copy that idea for sure.
No one uses the Radio anymore, lol

That's exactly why I did it. The CB was only temporarily mounted from the last ride at the Flats. It was only supposed to stay there for that weekend and then it turned into almost a year haha. I'm much happier with it now. It is hard getting used to controlling the volume on my phone though. As I drive I keep reaching to the dash to turn it up/down

I think I'd have to agree. Keeps the body sandwiched between the two cages too.

So wait... your phone controls the volume of the CB radio?

No. My phone controls all the music. I got very used to adjusting the volume via the old CD player and it's taking some time for me to get used to using the volume on my phone. I keep reaching to the dash as if the CD player is still there.

Finished the jeep last weekend. I'm very happy with how it came out. Now it's time to start wheeling it.

That's what I do in my Comanche. What's worse is there isn't even anything in the radio slot. I just reach for a hole in the dash to try and turn the music down haha

OH okay. Is the cd player mounted elsewhere or is it one of those remote-mounted ones that don't even have a faceplate?

I believe he said he's running an 3.5mm to rca adapter in an amp. That's what I'm using in my Comanche
