I also made a set of upper control arms for a buddy's TJ. These are rear uppers made of 1.75" 6061-T6 aluminum. They came out very well. I'll be making lowers from 2" 7071 once he orders the joints.

 

New rear axle going in. Stretched the rear another inch. New traction bar and cross member being built. Also lowered the whole jeep 1.5". Adding new shock hoops as well.

Anti-wrap bar is complete. Shock hoops are well on their way. Wednesday and Saturday will be two very busy days as I have to finish it all this weekend so that I can break in the gears before Jeep Jamboree.

Driver side fab work is done. Still needs paint and then shock installation. Passenger side has been started and I'll finish it Saturday.

It is. It's been under there for maybe 4-5 years now? It's done it's job.

 

Good to know man. Just picked one up from my local yard this past week n (along with a "new" tank). Tired of bashing my tank in.

lol.. I'm actually kind of impressed. I was expecting "potato vision" when he said he was drinking. These don't really look bad. Maybe a little too far from the subject, but I've seen people taking pics SOBER that don't look this good
