I just did this on my 88 and all I did was removed the spring pruch. I kept the 8.8 hard lines where they were. I found my with 4.10 gears since I had 3.07 gears stock in mine it works great!

I read your whole build and it sounds a lot like mine! I started with my 88 pioneer with 105k for one grand and been building it up ever since! Do you have an open cooling system or still closed? I saw you have the cst radiator.

Lots of people around here with 88's! I kept the closed cooling system. Funny story about that csf...I was running hot along with a small leak at the top rad hose where it meets the rad and thought everything was stock..so I decided to replace the whole cooling system(radiator, thermostat, waterpump, pressure bottle) I pulled the radiator I thought was stock and replaced it with the one I bought at AutoZone. When I looked over the old radiator I found that csf logo on it...I was pissed to say the least...its still sitting in my garage as of today...haven't needed to upgrade the one I put in

Dang...was it a cheap Chinese bottle or something? Lol
Also, I am going long arms in the future. But before that I'm getting 35's
Next things on my list are to get my winch bumper on with the winch I bought when the bumper gets here, then rock sliders and roof rack, then when my tires wear down I'm getting the 35's

It was a napa bottle! I was airing my tires with the oba and I have to have the engine run but the fuse I had for my Ford fan was made bad! Wasn't blown but the tack weld on the 60 amp fuse was bad!
