Nope. He did cut the whole roof of it though. He's also going to do a 318 swap in it.

Thanks for all the friends I won first place in Ruffstuff's contest. I have a couple things off the top of my head I would like so we'll see what I get! Thanks again all that voted for me.

Picked up a Aussie locker for $100 that's going to get put into the D30. I have those axle shafts I'm going to rebuild and install so deciding on whether to toss the locker in then or when I regear and replace the carrier.

Put them in when you do the axle shafts. No big deal and when you regear. You can still move it over. Again no big deal

What gears are you going to run? I had 4.11s with a stick and 33x10.5s. If I were to do it again, I would go with 4.56s even though I could get 20 mpg on the freeway with the taller gears.

4.56s, end game is to have 35s. I have more faith in 4.56s than 4.88s on the d30.

I have 4.56s and they do just fine. I'm glad I went 4.56 because of the 4.88 pinion size.

Definitely feel you on that...
That Offroad oomph is missing when trying to rev over obstacles...
I’m sure it’ll be easier with an auto when you can take the rpm gauge over 3k and not feel the engine overworking...

Made some progress today. Got the dremel out and went to town on the hinges, took the doors off the Jeep. I must say the have to weight around 90lbs each with everything, not as bad as I thought. Trimmed the inside of the passenger door and mounted one of the 6x9 speakers. Need to get mirrors, run the wiring and get them bondo and painted.
