Yeah it turns over now. From what i read if it would turn over the but not run to test the cps. I did and my results were off, so i got a new one. But yeah i cleaned the starter up and it turns over fine now. So when i pulled my spark plugs to change em out the old ones were all gapped at 70. I wasnt sure if thats right or not cause the haynes manual says to gap em at 35. And thats what all you guys said as well. Im thinking that im going to have to get some new spark plug wires, and clean my distributer up. Thinking maybe a carbon buildup or somthing.

Alright so i did some diagnostics on the jeep today. I cleaned everything from the ignition coil to the distributer. Changed the gap on the plugs and replaced the one i broke. Checked all connections and wires. I even put dielectric grease on them bad boys just to get em working. And nothing. Engine cranks but no fire. So im starting to think the ignition coil is out. I didnt have anyone to help me so i put one of those spark plug testers with the light in the middle on from the distibuter to the ignition coil and recorded what happened with my phone and sure enough..........nothing. The entire video has me cranking it over 3 times in different intervals, and yet still nothing. Well any input would help everyone. thanks a bunch.
