Uni body stiffeners. I plane on running long arms by the end of summer (homemade of course) so i need a good point to attach them to. This is what i cam up with. I had some 1/4 tread plat laying around so that is what i used. all the seems are welded up now but dont have pics. Should be welded on in a few weeks. again got love being able to cut up a parts jeep.

Any coments or concerns would be appreciated

Lol love the title man... I'd just do the flat black cause you know she's gonna get some dings & dents, so might as well just be able to do a quick touch up with some flat black!

[QUOTE=posjeepxj;495116]I read alot on a ton of different forums. Anything you can do to improve your jeep that doesnt cost alot i will try. This one works and works well. I removed my stock mech fan and installed a elec i had laying around. The fan was off a 96-99 ford taurus, but almost any reasoniblely flat 16in fan will work. dont have any installed pics just what it looks like out of jeep. A 16in fan fits rite into stock shroud. I also had to relocate the radiator .75in forward for a little more clearence. Thermo switch was like $23 and the relay was $8 the misc fuses and wiring was around $15. When it was all said and done i gained 1-2 mpgs and it made a noticible power difference
can you do a write up on how to wire this? ive been wanting to do it but just dont know how to wire it to make it automatic

I will try to get some pictures tomorrow. If you have to ask about how to wire your best bet might be to go to orielys (a local parts store) and ask about an electric fan controler. they come pre wired with a relay, adjustible thermo switch and wiring. They are only about $15 more than the way i did it.
