I noticed you went from the Goodyear Duratracs to the General Grabbers. How do they compare? What do you think of the Grabbers, they dont look too aggressive.

I knew someone who had them on his JK. He liked them. I had another model on my car along time ago and didnt like generals.

I think the like & dislike of tires is subjective to a degree. Just like shocks are.

It is subjective to a degree, but input from a few helps. I like the duratracs cuz the drive great on the road and are plenty for the offroading I do. They arent the most aggressive but get the job done. I feel like the Generals would suck in mud and we have a lot here in NY.

Go to tirerack.com check review there vs Dura tracs.

I just took my XJ in the sand over the weekend. Did well. I was going places (32") my buddy was with his 35" BF G's.

A smart man once said, if you can't weld good, weld a lot

Before I saw your build I wanted a half rack as well, not trying to copy...

Thanks the rack came on the jeep Im actually starting to like it. Your right on welding just do more and watch some youtube videos and use a welder that has enough power.

I noticed no sipping on tires for rain. Post back how they do in the rain. I know your in CA. Me too. I am actually 30min from you. But, we do get some rain. Anyways, I almost got those and always wondered.
