you will need brake line extension or stainless brake lines if you want any sort of flex. they long arms, they are a must. I got 28" ones from partsmike. love 'em

I vote for you piecing your own 4.5 inch kit together with Rubicon Express stuff and maybe another brand for certain things.
For example:
RE 4.5" coils: 64 bucks
RE Chromoly Heim Joint Trac Bar: 110 bucks and track bar bracket: 48
OME 3.5 Leafs: 260
5" shackle: 65
RE Superflex ADJ LCA's: 220.
stainless brake lines
shocks

but you get the idea. there's options out there. If you're going to buy brand new arms, get long arms. other wise just watch craigslist/local forums and find a good used set and rebuild them with new bushing parts.

Alright guys. I'm still not entirely sure of my plans for this build; I really am wanting a 4.5 RE lift with 33s. I was looking at your suggestions, and am liking the idea of getting the 4.5 coils, 3.5 rear leafs with 1" shackle (more flex), IRO trackbar, then not sure if I want IRO long arms or RE adjustable short arms. Hopefully you guys can chime in a bit.
Obviously I'd put in an SYE as well, and I've already got a front driveshaft from the junkyard that I'm going to use.

Did some things and haven't been updating:
Installed hitch and Dynomax Super Turbo
Had to take off the bumper to access the little weld strip so we could tap the old bolts. Big pain to be honest.
Be jealous of my nice saggy leaves.
Decided to remove the rear sway bar.
Got stuck...
And stuck again...
Found some rocks...
Surprisingly, the crappy jack under the seat helped get me out (oddly enough).
Only dragged the pumpkin a little bit...
Of course, I had a friend in a Dakota try to get me out, but he got stuck on wet grass. Finally rocked myself out, then got him out. On our way out, we saw an idiot kid in a Jetta backing out of the trail with his front bumper falling off.
I think I'm going to be ordering my lift and tires tomorrow.

Ordered my lift about a week and a half ago, and I'm waiting on parts. In the mean time, I started PB Blasting the bolts. They don't look too bad, but I have no clue. Hopefully they won't break.
Next week is my spring break, so hopefully my parts are here by then so I can get the lift on.

Where the hell do you get RE 4.5" coils for 64 dollars?
Also, that one heim t.b uses the stock bracket. Of course ad double sheer is better its not mandatory.
Dont necessarily have to have stainless steel brake lines, thats just an added cost. Chevy Fronts and Dakota rears will work fine adn will cost at least half of stainless.

Got the Jeep lifted right in time to get my friend out of the mud...
With the lift and old tires...
With new tires and flares off...
On the way to saving my friend...
How he was waiting for me
Brought to the local marching band car wash (at which I worked a bit) to have it cleaned (mostly by my friend's little brother in the picture)
How she sits at the moment. Just need to trim the fenders and I'll be good to go!
