Played around with my roof rack today. The one thing I always hated about it was how high it sat. Today I played around with the height
I flipped the mounting points

Sits about 3.5" lower. About .25" about the roof

The reason behind finally messing with the rack

It's actually getting dark up here again. Time to busy out the big guns
Also took my non-broken stock fog light and wired in for a reverse light

Lowered my *** end down and am running into some issues
What it looked like yesterday

The *** end sat about 1.5" higher
I swapped some stock shackles in and got this

Sits much better but now the shackles hit over bumps

I clearances the shackle relocators when I got them so I can't move them a hole back.
Suggestions?

So I did a little more work and came up with this
The 1.5" shackles moved to the center hole

Shackle angle

Used my hi lift to test the compression to make sure it wouldn't bottom out.

Decided I didn't want a roof rack or basket anymore so I ordered this piece from OMF offroad. Very nice, high quality heavy mounts for my light bar. I wish I would just sprayed it clear to show off the colors and welds.

Finnish the disc swap/longer brake lines this morning so I had to test it out.

Got bored so I went to the closest trail.

OMC offroad built a very high quality/sturdy product. I'd def recommend them.
