It was really hot in Chattanooga yesterday. And it's pretty hot here today.

Also I broke an axle u joint playing on m little trail at the house, so I'll have a lot of fun Saturday and maybe Sunday and possibly Monday depending on how many bolts I break in the process of changing it.
You need to post that pic of ours sitting out side the hall

I made a new tire mount for the jeep today, I was tired of having to replace ratchet straps that frayed from the weather.

I finally got a winch today. And I finally tore out my headliner yesterday. And I have been beating on this thing and I built a bumper a while back

I picked up new 35 inch mtzs and a rustys long arm kit today, but I'm working tons of hours so I have no idea when I will have time to install the long arms. I also have serious offroad 1 ton steering in the mail, and when I find someone that will quote me a reasonable price in installing the gears, it will get 4.88s

Is that their 4-link kit? Or the radius arm one? (Or whatever the other one is called)

radius arm, their 4 link kit isn't that impressive. I really wanted to just get the synergy 4 link brackets, because they are absolutely the best design I have seen for an xj, and build my own links, but my local shop got this kit over night for 690 out the door, so I just went ahead and got it. When I build a dedicated beater, I will do some kind if real 4 link.

How are those tires? Lowrange's brother might still be looking for a set. Can't wait for you to get this junk on and we can go wheeling at Adventure this fall.

everybody I know that has then loves them, and my tool buddy has had a set on his lj for a year and they still have like 75% tread. They took like 2 pounds of weight to balance though. How are your tires balanced? And I hope to be off this Sunday so I will pull an all nighter Sunday night and work on it until I finish it Monday and then somehow drag myself to work Monday night. It's gonna be awesome.

I meant your KM2's, my bad. Yeah, I have heard some good things about the MTZ's. I have a buddy who runs them on his TJ and likes them. Mine took a good bit to balance, but it wasn't anything near 2 pounds or close. I think the claws wear out on the road pretty quick. The two I had up front first are more worn down than the 2 I have up there now, but none of them are bald by any means. I love my claws offroad though. They clean out well, have a strong sidewall, and flex pretty well. The KM2's have a weaker sidewall, but it flexes a lot more. As much as I dont care for mud, you have to have a tire that cleans out well in the SE. I have been wheeling twice when there has been 0 mud. The KM2's didnt like mud at all, the claws dig all day long. I wish I could help you install it all.

the km2s are not worth driving from sc to pick them up, 1 is 50% 1 is 30% 1 is 15% 1 is 10%. I hope to be done with this night shift shot by fall because it's my favorite time of the year to wheel, but they are saying it is gonna be till December. They way work is going though, I say we will be out of there in the next couple of weeks.

If he wanted them I could pick them up onmy way to KY and give them to Andy. Not sure if he is still looking though and they sound baldish. Mine were about like that and I still sold them for $240 and the dude who bought them drove by me 2 days after with them on his little yota truck lol

id say two are bald like I would sell them for 75 for the pair with the wheels 1 is decent probably 59 bucks and the other is half tread probably a hundred bucks with the wheel. I'd probably let then go for 225 if somebody wanted them but I was just gonna keep them for a beater.
