After owning my jeep for almost a year now i have decided that it is finally time to lift it, since i got back some money from taxes, so i decided to start a build thread, ordered RE 3.5 inch leafs, and coils, super ride lcas and some skyjacker shocks, i didnt get swaybar links because i am gonna order jks discos, and i didnt buy all that stuff in a kit because i got a better deal on it this way. I ordered all of my stuff except the shocks from Serious offroad products, and the shocks are form quadratec.

One of the first things I did after I bought the jeep was buy a new bumper and a new fender and header panel. I got the bumper on. But the rest of the parts are still sitting in the garage.

I also made a hand grenade shifter, but instead of using the grenade spoon for the safety switch I decided to make a button, because the grenade spoon was really flimsy and I didn't think it would last long. I used a **** off of an ol radio for the button, and it works great.

I have been pb blastering the **** out of all my bolts so I hopefully wont brake many when I install my lift which ups says will be here tomorrow. I probably won't get to install the lift until next weekend because of work but if they don't have anything for my to do at the shop this week then I will defiantly get it done before then.

Just ordered jks discos and an extended rear brake line, couldn't find a yj brake line or a dakota brake line at any of my local auto parts stores so I guess I'll be driving the truck for a while til my new line comes in, starting the lift this afternoon.

Did the front end yesterday, just have to relocate the track bar and re connect the sway bar with the factory links till my jks discos get here.

I had a lot of trouble out of the driver side shock, and the track bar bolt. Those were the only things that I didn't use pb blaster on for the last couple weeks so I definantly reccomend using a bunch of pb blaster before installing a lift.
