I havent ever ran a swaybar on any xj ive owned. I cut the mounts off the axle.
Just something dumb to get in the way. Even my long arm 3 link doesnt roll too much on the highway to make me uncomfortable.

Doorless for the mother ****ing win! 33s look so damned small
Also I broke an axle u joint playing on m little trail at the house, so I'll have a lot of fun Saturday and maybe Sunday and possibly Monday depending on how many bolts I break in the process of changing it.

Changed that u joint, it wasn't broken, one of the caps was busted and all of the bearings had fallen out of it and the cap across from it, which is why there was a half inch of play in it. Job went so much easier than I expected. No problems with seized bolts, which is a big surprise on this jeep.

I have a warped brake rotor which is ruining the pads, so when I start hearing metal on metal I'll change the front brakes, and I still need to put the other side brakes on the drive side since I changed the passangers side and ran out of time to finish a couple of months ago.
I'm also gonna go ahead and get a zj tie rod this week I want serious steering but I don't have the money for it right now, but I have to have something, because I bent my stock tie rod, and messed up one of my km2s.
And I'm gonna try to get a steering box this week so I can finally start on my bumper build this weekend.

Jeep slung another pushrod. And I unknowingly drove home with it off, so it bent. I just bought six new pushrods, cause that's all my part store had. I'm jus gonna replace the bent one and carry the rest in the damned glove box.
I also put in new spark plugs, and cps trying to diagnose my cylinder 2 misfire before I pulled the valve cover, and bought injector o rings so I can clean the injectors and replace the o rings.

No kidding. When we got in the car after OSHA class yesterday, it was unbearably hot. I decided to wait til the sun starts down to work in the jeep today. The injectors are gonna have to wait, but I'm gonna change the oil and put another quart of marvel mystery oil in the oil.
