Apparently daylighters have higher candle power, but they were to big to fit on my bumper. These are super bright, being the long range they spotlight **** waaay down the road. Haven't brought them off road yet but I'm more than happy with how they function. Although it is quite difficult to get a wrench on the side bolts that control y axis movement. I can't seem to tighten them down to where they won't move but I don't really care cause they are tight enough that, so far, normal bumps don't move them. I'd like to also note that I've only ever wired stereos and this install was a breeze.

Nice. I'm glad the install went easy. It really is a lot easier than it seems to be. And remember. If you wired them now you can wire any light setup basically. Lengths will change depending on where you mount them. But now you know how to wire them so your golden.

Lol sorry..

What I'm trying to say is. Wired one wired em all. You said you have never done anything more than a head unit. But now that you have the experience of doing a set of lights at a basic position on the vehicle you should be able to tackle any lights.

Why it quoted a random thing I have no idea. I'm on the app.

So up next is gonna be fixing my heat soak issue. For those of you who don't know the 00-01 engines suffer from a design flaw that causes alot of heat coming of the headers and pre cats to rise up to the fuel rail and basically cook it causing vapor lock. Usually, after you turn engine off, fans shut off, engine "soaks" in its own heat and causes a misfire upon restart. Last time I was out on the Dunes my engine actually died going up a hill and I had to sit around for about 15mins till it cooled off. NOT COOL!

My solution,

Wrapping my fuel rail and injectors with exhaust wrap and cool tape will be my first step. Sometimes this fixes it but usually it just reduces the problem.

Hood vents.
I like the Lebaron ones but wouldn't mind having something a little more unique and with the Lebarons increasing popularity it seems I can buy a complete kit for around the same price.

Efan switch or delay.
Wiring up a relay to have the fan run on a timer after I shut off engine seems to help avoid the misfire upon restart situation. Or I can just hook up a switch that let's me run it manually.

Upgrade my fan system.
Been looking at the kit from dirt bound, but at $300+ it's something I'll have to save up for. Hence it being last on the list
