wellllllp, some stuff has been done to the xj lately, ill post pics tonight or tomorrow, but i plastidipped my rubi moabs, got my treadwright bfgs mounted and balanced, all aligned up, cut my stock muffler and tailpipe off and installed a flowmaster 40, no pipe after the muffler, sounds pretty damn tough, got some nice trail damage on the passenger rear door, and my tire carrier from detours should be here monday! im surprised at how much progress ive made.
Future mods:
1. SYE and CV driveshaft from adams driveshaft
2. add longer shackles and coil spacers for about a 4 inch lift
3. New brakes on all fours
4. Solid diff covers front and rear
im hoping i can do all this stuff through the winter and have the jeep ready for jeep week in ocean city next summer. all is going as planned at this point in the build and the xj feels great!

i pulled my fender liners out up front when i removed the flares. When you do that and open your door you can see tire in the hole where the hinges are. i saw on a thread some time ago that guys were putting pool noodles in the fender and using expanding foam to keep it in there to keep water and mud and rocks and gunk from getting all over your hinges. i liked the idea of blocking off that are so i used the idea.
without the white noodle there all you can see is tire and asphalt.

You can really cram the noodle in there for a tight fit before the expanding foam, then spray it with bedliner. you could also do a much neater foam job than i did lol that "great stuff" crap is hard to use
