2000 XJ New Jersey style
Just ready the whole thread and might I say it's given me many ideas even though I have a zj. You've motivated me to work on mine a whole lot more.
And I think you've convinced me to switch from bed liner to plastidip.

I just read your build from start to finish... all 78 pages haha. This thing is awesome.
I'm from Brigantine, so its cool to see people on the forum that are close! I see you originally lived in OC, and I was there last night!
Anyway, where do you usually go wheeling around here? I've just been finding spots around the woods here lol. A buddy and I want to make the trip up to Wharton soon and I think I saw that you posted about going there.
All in all, the build looks amazing! Keep it up dude

I really want to get out somewhere ASAP with somebody with a good camera I need up to date pics for the cherokee of the month calendar. I won back in March and things have changed a lot back then it's like a whole different jeep haha.

The straps were the originals luckily I could reuse them. But BE WARNED! The j hooks which attach the straps to the unibody will break when you go to take the bolts off and they are freaking 35 bucks a piece dealer only. I bought one, and made the other. I should have just made both of them if you have a welder and a cut off wheel you'll be good to go.

Plasti dip is the best I swear by that stuff even more now. The rockers and rear quarters on my jeep are still holding up! I did them sooo long ago with plans to redo it and it just stayed so nice I haven't. The only spots that it's peeling is near the top of the rocker front drivers side but that's because all summer I had my doors off and my foot would rest there. Some spring all the dip is getting redone. Even my bumper, d rings they are all plasti dip and holding up great. It even does a good job to protect from rust, now that I've had time to test it I stand behind that even more.

I have been driving it to work everyday. And letting my pick up sit since it's about to be paid off. The other cherokee I bought still needs work before I can drive it but hopefully I can get that done soon

Yeah man we should definitely meet up sometime! My friend and I found this little place in Galloway (I think it be might be illegal though lol) we've been going too. I have a friend that takes a lot of pictures with a nice camera. He could probably help you out if we ever decide to meet up!

Thank you, it's all in the little details haha. I have a lot of plans for this years jeep invasion in ocean city I'm really pulling to have this thing win the cherokee class again. The zj steering is still holding up, probably one of the best things I've done such a big difference.

Pretty sure it was stock last time you saw it.
Here's the specs:
Suspension: 3.5" Rough Country Series 2 with 2.2 shocks, Rough Country dual stabilizers
Wheels & Tires: 35x12.50R17 Nitto Trail Grapplers mounted to 17x9 Black Rhino Rockwell Wheels
Bumpers: Teraflex hinged carrier and mount
Armor: Factory skids, Bushwacker corner guards, hood and tailgate protector, Rugged Ridge light guards
Performance: K&N Air Intake, Superchips Flashpaq, Gibson Metal Mulisha Exhaust, E3 Diamond fire plugs
Lights: Philips Crystal Vision Ultra, Pilot H3 fog light swap, LED Dome lights, D2s on Poison Spyder A-pillar brackets and on tire carrier
Sound: Factory Infinity, Alpine MRP-M500 amp, JL 8 2v4 subwoofer
Misc.:Smittybilt grab handles, Smittybilt neoprene seat covers, Tuffy stereo cover, Rugged Ridge mirror relocation brackets, Ventshade wind deflectors, Buskwacker cowl scoop, Rollbar mounted OBA, Rugged Ridge black aluminum fuel door, Bestop door sills, Poison Spyder license plate delete
I'm sure there's more that I'm missing. Sill needs a front bumper with a winch. Then beef up the D30 with some sleeves and inner C gussets. Looking to get a new top for the summer too. Factory top will become my winter top.

Update!
Going to pick this little gem up Friday for the jeep. Down n dirty off-road made w/ the LEDs and new mounts included. Can't wait!
Time to order another rim and decide what to do with my tires. Do I keep them and buy 2 new ones and use one of the two beat ones for a spare? Or do I go another direction. Hmm
